Business Development Manager

Here's what we want you to do as a Business Development Manager:

  • Proactively solicit and recruit companies to distribute our software products within the legal and medical markets.
  • Align business development efforts with targeted vertical markets.
  • Manage partner relations with the goal of moving deep into an organization to uncover more sales opportunities.
  • Identify, solicit, and close master distributor agreements with leading companies in each vertical market.
  • Focus on customers that have the potential of generating significant revenue streams.
  • Solicit and close private-label licenses or sales with targeted organizations.
  • Provide "world-class" customer service and product knowledge.
  • Cross-sell and educate customers on our other products.
  • Increase the value of each order received by educating the appropriate customers on our multiple-copy and network license programs.


Here are a few requirments:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or relevant major.
  • Minimum of five years sales experience (software sales preferred, but not required).
  • Goldmine or ACT database experience.
  • Excellent business writing and oral communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and an aptitude for sales.
