The position includes a comprehensive benefits package, a more-than-competitive base salary, plus monthly commissions. SmartDraw.com has a talented staff of creative professionals, is self-financed, and has been highly profitable since 1994. The company is conveniently located just off interstate 15 on Mira Mesa Blvd. in North San Diego.

The successful candidate will be a high-performing inside sales rep who is an "ace" communicator, resourceful, and energetic. You will be in direct contact with customers and prospects on the telephone for approximately 75 percent of your time each day in order to:

• Introduce new or improved products to our current software customers (over 100,000) and acquire leads for high potential new customers.
• Respond to inquiries and leads provided through various business channels.
• Actively prospect websites, seek out and recruit new affiliates to drive profitable traffic to our websites.
• Handle sales calls in a way that maximizes our revenue and provides world-class customer service.
• Identify potential organizations to partner with to accelerate penetration into new vertical markets and negotiate win/win programs.

Additional activities will include trade show participation requiring light travel and lead generation research.

Qualified candidates will have:

• Minimum of two years inside sales experience with heavy outbound emphasis.
• Strong computer skills including Internet navigation; sales tracking software (Goldmine or similar product, a plus).
• Excellent business writing and oral communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and a proven aptitude for sales.
