Take a look at SmartDraw 2007's cool new design. It uses the new Ribbon Interface that you'll find in Microsoft Windows Vista® and Microsoft Office® 2007 early next year. Not only does this look cool, but it also makes SmartDraw 2007 much easier to use.

Before version 2007, many of the requests we got for new features were already in SmartDraw, but users were unable to find the commands and features they were looking for because they were buried in menus and dialogs.
The new ribbon interface solves this problem by making commands more visible and quicker to access. You'll be surprised at what you can do with SmartDraw once you can see what's available.
Don't Drag. Stamp Instead.
We made adding shapes and lines simpler too.
With SmartDraw 2007, you don't have to hold down the mouse button when you add a shape to a drawing. You simply click on a symbol once and then click again on the page where you want it to go, copying it onto the page like a rubber stamp. Shift-click a symbol and you can stamp multiple copies with a click for each.

Drawing lines is easier. You click where you want the line to start and click again where you want it to end. There's no need to hold down the mouse button while you draw.
We introduced stamping to help new SmartDraw users get started, but even the old hands like us switched once we tried it. It's so much faster and easier than drag and drop (which still works too).
One Click Replaces Many
We've replaced many things that used to take a lot of work with one click in SmartDraw 2007.
The list is too long to mention them all but here are some highlights:
