Text in this example:

In Vitro Fertilization Normal pregnancy occurs within the fallopian tube, which joins the uterus to the ovary. It is here that the sperm unites with the egg.
During in vitro fertilization, the ripening eggs (ova) in a woman's ovaries are stimulated and monitored. The ova and sperm are then collected and incubated together in a fluid medium in a petri dish. Fertilization and early embryo growth takes place inside the laboratory instead of a woman's body.
Poor quality sperm are usually injected into an egg using micromanipulation techniques to facilitate the process. Afterwards, the best embryo is transferred to the uterus using a thin, plastic catheter. It is common to transport more than one zygote to improve chances of pregnancy.
Success or failure can be determined in only two weeks.
