Adding Team Members
Since we know there are several team members, each with a differing level of responsibility, we can add the subordinates in one layer at a time, beginning from the center moving outward.
While the "ABC, Inc. Special Projects Team" box is still selected, click Add
Team/Department from the Edit group of SmartPanel
five times. As you click, you should notice how quickly the team members are added
and how everything is arranged symmetrically. Keep in mind how this chart has three
supervisory members on the right (Lead Designer, Lead Developer, and Lead QA Engineer) and
two on the left (Lead Engineer and Technical Editor).
Adding the Supervisory Team Members
Likewise, you can select any supervisory team member and add subordinates just as quickly.
For this example, select the supervisory member on the middle-left and add two team members
by clicking 'Add Team Member' twice from the Add Shapes group of SmartPanel. Your chart
should appear as below.
