Creating a Room Outline
When you draw a wall starting at the end of an existing wall, they intelligently link together and show this link with a blue dashed line. Once you make the entire outline, the walls become a convenient closed shape. While building this initial outline, don't worry about doors, windows, or other spaces in the walls—we'll get that that later.
If you need to change the angle on a wall, you can rotate it using the rotation handle located at the end of the wall. Just grab it (click down with your mouse), and without letting go, rotate it into place.
Alternatively, you can select the wall and click on the Design. tab Here, you can rotate your wall using the Rotate tool in the Shape Layout group.
