Creating Forms with SmartDraw
Keep your business ahead of the competition and save money and time by creating professional-looking
forms with SmartDraw. With hundreds of premade forms and thousands of blocks that you can "stamp"
into place, you don't have to waste time drawing your form by hand.
Start with a SmartTemplate
SmartDraw provides premade forms for almost any need in almost any business. Each of these is a
SmartTemplate with special settings that make building forms quick and easy.
Even the Blank Form SmartTemplate has these settings, so even though it looks
blank, it is the right choice if you want to make a form from scratch.
To begin, choose a category from the SmartTemplate List on the left side of the
Document Browser. You can of course choose Forms, or you can choose a category
like Accounting & Finance or Education, which include forms
specific to those fields.
Then, select a SmartTemplate in the Preview Area in the center of the Document
Browser. You will be able to customize the premade forms, or you can just start with the blank
form.
Once you have selected a SmartTemplate, you can begin building using the
Forms SmartPanel. There are actually two different
Forms SmartPanels. The blank form SmartTemplate has a special Form
Design SmartPanel because it takes different tools to build
a form than to modify a form.
