Align Objects
With SmartDraw, arranging the elements on the page is a breeze. After you drag
them to approximately the right position, the software will help you arrange
them perfectly.
Use the Align control in the Design tab to align
selected objects. To select several objects, hold the Shift key while clicking on
each object in turn. The last object you click on will have black selection handles
and is called the Target Object.
Once the objects have been selected, click the Align button and make a selection
from the menu. All of the other objects you have selected will be aligned with the
Target Object.
Make Objects the Same Size
In addition to aligning to a Target Object, you can also make objects match
its size. When you have multiple objects selected, click on the Make Same
menu under the Design tab. Here you'll be able to select between
Make Same Height, Make Same Width, and Both.
