Showing Dimensions and Area

You can display the dimensions of any line, or the area of any closed shape, in your drawing. To show the dimensions of a line or shape, click on it and click on Dimensions under Shape Properties on the Design tab.

When you select a shape and click Dimensions, an option to show the area of a shape is available in the dialog. Simply click the checkbox, and then click OK.
