How to Draw Floor Plans
Adding Doors and Windows
To add doors and windows, click on the Construction Library Selector in SmartPanel and select Doors and Windows. That library, consisting of door and window symbols, will be opened in the Gallery below.
Click on a door or window you want to add, then stamp or drag it into place on your outline. As you approach a wall, your shape will automatically snap to that wall, rotated in the correct position. Click when the symbol is in the desired position.
The white part of a door or window symbol is meant to replace the wall section you drop it over, so you don't have to leave an opening for it.
Note: You can use the Flip control in the Design tab to reverse the direction of a door.
