With SmartDraw's one-click photo insertion features, you can insert digital images and create eye-catching charts and diagrams.
You'll also get dozens of image layouts for advertising real estate, business plans, and more! All you have to do is plug in your own photos, draw a floor plan, and print!
Photos can transform an abstract diagram into concrete communication.
Imagine your next floor plan paired with a striking photo to advertise office space for lease or to sell your house!
Imagine giving your landscaper, not just your landscape design, but actual photos of various flowers and trees!
Remodeling? In addition to giving your architect or interior designer your new floor plan sketched out in SmartDraw, why not include a few photos scanned in from a magazine?
Inserting a Photo into a Floor Plan
You can insert a picture or photo (such as a JPG, GIF, PNG or other bitmap
image) into your drawing by choosing Open Picture from the Picture tab and browsing
to locate the picture on your computer.
Unless you have already selected a place for the picture to go (such as a selected shape or a table cell) it will be placed near the upper left corner of your SmartDraw drawing by default. You can then drag it to any position you like.
Editing the Embedded Photo
Once your image is added you can still edit its brightness, contrast. Or even crop the photo using the
tools found on the Picture tab.
