Align Objects
With SmartDraw, arranging the elements on the page is a breeze. After you drag them to approximately the right position, the software will help you arrange them perfectly.

Use an Align command under the Align menu to align selected objects with a chosen Target Object. The last object you click on will have black selection handles and is called the Target Object.

First, select the objects you want to arrange. Do this by clicking on each object in turn (while holding down the Shift key). All of the other objects you have selected will be aligned with the Target Object.

Make Objects the Same Size
In addition to aligning to a Target Object, you can also make your objects match it's size. When you have multiple objects selected, click on the Make Same menu under the Design tab. Here you'll be able to select between Make Same Height, Make Same Width, and Both.
