How to Create Presentations and School Projects

Find more symbols by clicking the Library Selector and choosing More.... In the More Symbols dialog, you can search for symbols or browse SmartDraw's symbol library explorer tree.

When you find a library you would like to open, select it and click OK.

Add lines to your diagram by clicking the Line button in the Tools group of the Home tab. If you click the arrow below the button, you can choose between several line types.

When your cursor enters the Work Area, it becomes a pencil. Click the pencil, then drag it to draw the line, and release when the line is drawn.

You can add text to shapes, along lines, or in the background. To do this, simply click Add Text in SmartPanel or Text in the Home tab, and then click where you would like to add text and begin typing.

When you add text to the background, it becomes a background text object, which you can treat just like any other object. However, if you delete all of the text from it, the object will be deleted as well so that the Work Area does not become crowded with invisible objects.
