How to Manipulate Objects
You can move objects by clicking on them and dragging them to a new position.
You can also use the arrow keys to nudge an object one pixel at a time.
Resize an object by clicking on it to select it, then dragging one of the black square selection handles. To resize proportionally, hold the Shift key while dragging.
Rotate an object by first clicking on it to select it. A round Rotation Handle appears near the edge of the object. Simply click this rotation handle and drag your mouse with a circular motion, then release when the object is in the desired position.
How to Add Color
Choose a Theme using the gallery on the Home tab. Themes consist of a set of coordinated colors that are applied to the entire Work Area, leaving your diagram looking professional in a single click.
Note: Themes will overwrite any colors you have already applied, so we advise that you choose a theme before applying any other coloration.
Apply color to individual objects using Quick Styles, located on the Home tab. A Quick Style applies color, border and line style, effects such as gloss or shadow, font style, and more to the selected object(s).
Simply select an object, or hold the Shift key while clicking on each object you would like to select, then click the Quick Styles button on the Home tab and select a style. Quick Styles are translated to a parallel Quick Style when the Theme is changed.
You can apply fills, line styles, and effects separately as well using the controls on the Shape Style group of the Home tab.
