HOW TO CREATE QUIZZES, WORKSHEETS, AND OTHER HANDOUTS

SmartDraw can help you quickly create worksheets, quizzes and other classroom handouts with detailed illustrations and subject-specific clip art.

For example, you could add a fill-in-the-blank diagram to a plant cell worksheet, or a map outline to a geography quiz.

Using the OLE capabilities of SmartDraw, you can also add complicated equations from the Microsoft Equation Editor, charts from Excel, and more.

Opening Assignments & Worksheets SmartTemplates
When you start SmartDraw, you'll see the New Document dialog. Click on the Activities tab and select Education. This will open up a list of SmartTemplates that go with the activity of Education, such as Assignments & Worksheets.

The easiest way to create a perfect-looking logic diagram is to start with one of the SmartTemplates. You'll find them already pre-formatted and ready to go.

To use a SmartTemplate, simply click on it. It will open into the program screen with all the settings properly configured. Now you can easily customize text, symbols, and diagrams.

The Flyer SmartPanel
Assignments & Worksheets SmartTemplates use the Design a Flyer SmartPanel. The SmartPanel is located to the far left of your work area. Here you will be able to Add Shapes using the symbols in the Library Gallery, Add Text, and Add Pictures.

When you start off using a SmartTemplate for your document, the appropriate symbol library loads with the template.
