How to Manipulate Objects

You can move objects by clicking on them and dragging them to a new position.

You can also use the arrow keys to nudge an object one pixel at a time.

Resize an object by clicking on it to select it, then dragging one of the black square selection handles. To resize proportionally, hold the Shift key while dragging.

Rotate an object by first clicking on it to select it. A round Rotation Handle appears near the edge of the object. Simply click this rotation handle and drag your mouse with a circular motion, then release when the object is in the desired position.

How to Add Text

You can add text to shapes, images, lines, and even the background.

Simply click the Text button in the Home tab (or the Add Text button in the SmartPanel, if available), then click where you want to add the text and begin typing.

Text that you add to the background becomes a background text object which you can treat just like any other object. If you delete all of the text from a background text object, the object will be deleted so that the Work Area does not become crowded with invisible objects.
