How to Add Text
Now that your classroom is built, you can add students' names to it. In order to facilitate the rearrangement of students, it is best to create Background Text Objects which you can drag into place on top of a desk.
In the Home tab, click Text, and then click on a blank region of the Work Area. Type a student's name, then click somewhere else to leave text entry mode.
You now have an object that you can treat just like any other: you can move it, resize it, add color to it, and more. If you delete all of the text from this object, the object will be deleted as well so that your Work Area does not become crowded with invisible objects.
Drag each student's name to a desk or other assigned position. The best part is that you can try different arrangements of your students without having to move the desk symbols you have carefully positioned.
How to Add Color
You can add fill colors, textures, gradients, or patterns to most shapes. There are some library symbols can be filled. To do this, select the shape, and then click Fill in the Home tab and make a choice.
Add color to the entire floor by clicking on the wall and choosing a fill. Our textures include a variety of carpets, woods, and tiles that are perfect for flooring.
Add color to symbols such as desks by selecting them and using the fill button. You can select several of them by holding the Shift key while clicking on each shape, or by using the Select Multiple tool which can be accessed by clicking Select on the Home tab.
