Changing Fill Color or Texture
You can change the finish of some cabinets, shelves, and containers. Click on the Fill menu in the Shape Style group under the Home tab.
Once the Fill menu drop-down is displayed, click on the Texture menu to select a new texture/finish for your selected object.

Adding Text
You can easily add text to the page just by clicking on the Text button [A] and typing anywhere in the background of the drawing.
To modify the text, double-click on it to enter the editing mode. All of the normal Windows® text conventions apply: you can cut, copy, and paste as usual.
Change the font, size, style and color of selected text using the commands in the Font group under the Home tab.
If you want to change the style of the entire text object, you don't even need to enter editing mode. Simply click on the text object to select it, and use the Font group commands to change your font.
Like any object in your project, text can also be rotated using the rotation handle along the border of the text object.
Printing Your Storage Design
When you make a single-page design, you are actually working on the "page one" area (the upper left corner) of SmartDraw's 50 x 50-inch drawing area. You can make a poster up to 50 x 50 inches in size by using the entire drawing area.
Multi-page documents will be "tiled" when printed on a standard printer, so that adjacent pages can be joined together.
Printing Multi-Page Designs
SmartDraw does not normally print the entire 50x50 inch drawing area. It prints only the pages that contain your project. If your project fits within one page, only that page is printed. If it extends across a page boundary, it is printed on two or more pages, as needed.
Printing on One Page
Even if your project takes up more than one page on the screen, you can still print it on a single sheet of paper by checking the Print on One Page box in the Print dialog.
For best results, choose a page orientation (Portrait or Landscape) that matches the shape of your project (tall or wide). Of course, if your project is very large it may not be readable when printed on one page.
To change the orientation of your SmartDraw page click on the Orientation menu in the Page Setup group under the Page tab.
