1. Advisors
Advisors can now have associated URLs. During export, if a URL is
added to an advisor, a new button is shown at the top linking the
advisor to the URL. Links to the SmartDraw Resource Centers have
been added to appropriate advisors.
2. Print the Grid
A check box in the Print dialog and Page setup allow you to print the
grid. The major lines are thicker than the minor lines. The grid
is green on color printers.
3. Page Setup
The same four checkbox controls that appear in Printer setup
now appear in Page setup.
4. Print Preview
Print Preview now has a Page Setup button.
5. Export and Import
Now supports EMF import and export.
6. Remove Unlicensed Symbols
Right click on the root folder in the SmartDraw Explorer to
delete unlicensed symbols.
7. E-mail toolbar button
E-mails the current document with a note and a link to
the free SmartDraw viewer.
8. Scale up and down buttons
Changed to avoid confusing behavior with "Fit to Page" mode.
9. Linking Lines to Shapes
Shapes now take precedence over lines when linking to lines.
10. Find and Replace
The message at the end of a Find and Replace session now requires OK click.

1. Win98 Install
Fixed a problem that occurs on some Win98 installations that prevents
files being opened using the New Document dialog.
1. Fixed problem in which "Save As JPG" in the Standard version reported that Professional was required.
2. Fixed problem with program not starting properly on systems with bad “Application Data” path registry entries.
3. Fixed problems with “license file appears to have been moved” and installing on some Windows 98 systems.
4. Fixed problems with files not opening when automatic spelling correction makes their text sizes exceed the limit.
5. Fixed bug with toolbar docking to background window.
6. Fixed bug in "Show Line Length" with negative origins.
7. SmartDraw now remembers spelling correction settings between sessions.
8. The Template Dialog remembers which button was last selected.
9. The “need license” warning is now displayed when downloading an unlicensed library from a preview.
10. Improved using Shape Properties on groups to change their sizing behavior.
