Storing Your Symbols in a Library
If you created new symbols or objects for your floor plan, you can store them for future use in a SmartDraw symbol library. You can add the symbol to an existing library or create your own new library.

To create a new library, select Create Library from the Libraries command under the main Application menu.

Your new library will be saved in the My Symbols folder and will automatically open in a floating window above your work area.

You can dock it in your SmartPanel and Library pane by dragging it over that area.

You can also find it again, by opening the More Symbols dialog and either browsing to your new library using the folder structure or searching for it by name.
