Mind Maps Web Tutorial

Saving Files


Congratulations! You're done mind mapping and are ready to save it (although we recommend you save often). To save the completed drawing, click Save Mind Map - Save on the Quick Access Toolbar above the Main Toolbar. You can then save the file to a location of your choosing. There are also shortcut buttons on the Quick Access Toolbar for Undo Mind Map - Undo (undoing the last action taken), Redo Mind Map - Redo (redoing the last action that was undone), New Mind Map - New Document (creating a new drawing), or Print Mind Map - Print (printing the current drawing).

Sharing the Completed Mind Map


SmartDraw offers several modes of export to share your completed drawing, including inserting into Microsoft Word®, Excel®, or PowerPoint®. Again, it's as easy as clicking the appropriate Office® or PDF icon on the Quick Access Toolbar.
