Changing the Chart Direction
By default, SmartDraw's org chart is built from the top down. However, you can easily change the direction of an org chart—even a fully completed org chart—from top down to bottom up and even sideways. To do so, click on the Chart Direction button in SmartPanel and choose a chart layout.

Changing the Branch Style
If you want to change how shapes connect to each other, you can click on the branch of the org chart you want to change and click on the Branch Style button on the SmartPanel.

Rearranging Shapes
To change the order of the shapes on your tree, you can drag a shape from one link point to another.

Moving the Branch
You can move the organizational branch around on the page by clicking directly on the connector line and moving it with the mouse. All attached boxes will move with the branch.
