We've put in place many security measures to protect the content that you store using your SmartDraw account.
We encrypt the content that you store on your SmartDraw account using the AES-256 standard, which is the same encryption standard used by banks to secure customer data. Encryption for storage is applied after the content is uploaded, and we manage the encryption keys.
We host SmartDraw on redundant servers in data centers in multiple states, all of which are professionally managed with 24/7 security staff to keep the data centers physically secure.
Your files are sent between the client or browser from which you access your SmartDraw account and our servers over a secure channel using RSA 2048-bit (Secure Sockets Layer) encryption, the standard for secure Internet network connections.
We keep redundant backups of all SmartDraw account content at multiple locations to minimize the possibility of data loss.
We take a number of measures to ensure that the data you store on SmartDraw is safe and secure. While we're very confident in our technology, we recognize that no system can guarantee data security with 100% certainty. For that reason, we will continue to innovate to make sure that our security measures are state of the art, and we will investigate any and all reported security issues concerning SmartDraw. Please report any security issues to firstname.lastname@example.org.
In order to provide you with the most secure and reliable way to backup your files, SmartDraw recently successfully completed its first Service Organization Control (SOC) 2 Type I audit.
The audit was conducted in accordance with the AICPA SOC reporting standards. It was performed by SSAE 16 Professionals, LLP, a full service accounting firm that provides SOC 2 Type I and Type II audits.
