Attach the reference to the line for top side. If reference agrees with the arrow, it signifies Arrow Side. If not, it signifies Other Side.
Flip the symbol and attach it to the line to signify the opposite side.
Attaching a reference to both sides signifies both sides. Can be staggered to indicate order of completion.
